BLUG day event: March 30th, 2010: Abstracts
We're prepping for our big full day event on March 30th, 2010 at the IBM Forum, Bourgetlaan 42, Zaventem (Brussels).
You can imagine there's a lot of things to do.
We're going to have some famous speakers for you, that's a promise.
But we also want to hear you do a presentation too.
Let us know if you have a great topic you would like to talk about.
A session takes about 50 minutes, with an extra 5 minutes for Q&A.
All sessions need to be given in English. We prefer you bring your own laptop for doing the presentation.
All rooms are equipped for projection and have wired internet connection.
We are going to have 3 tracks: Administration, Development and Business/Other.
Please submit your abstract before February 21th, 2010. This will allow us to sort through the submissions.
Some of the criteria for being approved are:
- Originality (if 5 people want to talk about DAOS, we'll not going to approve them all)
- Timeliness (don't submit a session about using calendar views in Notes 4.5)
- Interest (Android development might be interesting, but not that many people will be interested)
- Availability of slots (we can approve around 20 sessions)
- Track record as a speaker
