Let's disscuss that around a beer, ok ? ;-)
Lotus Domino Designer evolution
May be it's a good idea to have a list of topics and let the users vote which topic they want to see.
New design/admin features, announcements, sneak previews , best practices, realizations....
New features, Future project.. etc..
New Lotus features, road maps
New releases
New releases, roadmap of Lotus Notes software, demo, customer testimonials
New versions (even in beta) and features, connection with other products (like Atlantis), would also be good (if feasible) to have a kind of lotus labs (like we have on lotusphere)
News about the new release. For exemple,

- We should maintain current quality to keep people coming
A BLUG is a forum where IBM gets to advertise its products. So it is all about generating money for IBM. Let them pay the bill :-)
A fee would hold back my employer to go to such event (if the sessions are not technical)
As an ISV weŽd prefer to sponsor hand-selected events. If we participate, yes. If not, probably not.
As customer it should be free sponsored by IBM and the different BPs
Can't IBM do some sponsoring? or other vendors?
Companies should be able to contribute by providing infrastructure and/or sandwiches/drinks for a meeting
depends on the value i get in return
how to get this organized ?
I Discuss with my boss but it's not in our budget, it can come from IBM, Lotus Partners or product around Lotus.
I may not decide about that kind of questions for my company.
I think this can be considered as pre-sales activity towards customers.
I would see it as normal that BLUG memebrs have a fee to ensure BLUG can work
Maybe have the business partners pay in relation to their status (premier, advanced, ...).
Nothing is free
SNUG in The Netherlands is 42,50 euro. Also a Business Partner community is available using Sametime, where handy in contacting all the Business Partners
yearly fee is maybe difficult if you can't join all events but a fee/event should be no problem if level of the event is OK (whiich they are until now :-))

Best to contact Guy Ceulemans
gadgets with blug/lotus logo
I prefer the multi level sponsoring idea.
No for this year.
Speaker sessions and/or education session are interesting. Booth is for sure good but reaching a larger audience with our speech and have a lot of interested CLPs attending our free cerfication/briefing courses is of higher priority.
This is Laurent Boes's budget of course :-)
This is open for discussion.

For heaven's sake, don't schedule a BLUG event at the same day as an EasiSphere event.
I hope that the number of customers will increase. IBM & BP's can support the BLUG but the participation of the user-community is important.
Invite more end users...
Last BLUG was great. Would like to see a bit more customers and less vendors/sales people though.
Nice survey. No wonder you have won an award
Nice work Theo
Not at this time
Post presentations also in ppt format
The BLUG is a real good initiative to ensure Lotus Notes/Domino lives and has a future.
